BaretaNews can now confidently project that from all exit polls and results coming from Cameroon Presidential Elections, Prof Maurice Kamto has won the October, 7th 2018 elections. 

He is the new President-Elect of La Republique Du Cameroun. BaretaNews has been reliably informed from Kamto’s headquarters that he will soon make a statement in regards to this projection.

Worthy to note that, the Acting President of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia, Dr. Samuel Sako has earlier on sent congratulatory messages based on this projection.

It is not immediately clear if that Country’s electoral body ELECAM will change the results in favour of its incumbent President Paul Biya. It is still to be seen if Cameroun citizens in its 8 regions will go out to defend their votes and proclaim Maurice Kamto, President-Elect.

It is should be recalled that citizens of Cameroun annexed territory, the former British Southern Cameroons hugely and overwhelmingly boycotted the elections in their territory as gun battles raged on in most part of the annexed territory in a testament which unofficially introduces a referendum to opt out of the Cameroun colony.
