Two security guards, Cornelius Muchikange and Nesbert Kachungwe, both 35 years old, stand accused of stealing US$53,000 recovered from the scene of a robbery at Quest Financial Services.
The guards were part of a security response team deployed to Quest Financial Services after a robbery where US$710,000 was stolen. While at the scene, they allegedly discovered and kept a bag containing US$53,000 that robbers had dropped during their escape.

Misuse of Funds:
Authorities allege that Muchikange used the stolen money for various personal expenses, including:Purchasing a Nissan Sulphy car (US$3,700)
Buying a residential stand (US$6,000)
Paying lobola (dowry) to his in-laws (US$2,500)
Kachungwe is also accused of spending stolen money on:
