This suspension would be linked to the information he disclosed about the assassination of his childhood friend Bishop Bala of Bafia. The administrators of social network Facebook on Wednesday, July 05, 2017, suspended the account of 2011 Presidential election candidate Pr. Vincent Sosthene Fouda.

Though the reasons for the suspension is not known sources say it may linked to the assassination of Bishop Jean-Marie Benoît Bala of Bafia,his childhood friend. The suspension comes after the president of the Cameroon Movement for Social Democracy (MCPSD) published a video in which he formally accused the Minister of of Civil Cabinet Martin Belinga Eboutou as the brain behind this brutal assassination of the prelate.

Vincent Sosthène Fouda accused the Director of the Civil Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic of being the sponsor of the assassination of Bishop Jean-Marie Benoît Bala. He asserts that Belinga Eboutou “took” the prelate out of the bishop’s House on the night of May 29, 2017,the night he disappeared .

The video was viewed by nearly 4,000 people in less than 24h. Vincent Sosthène Fouda testified that the Director of Civil Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic called Bishop Jean-Marie Benoît Bala at 11:47 pm, saying: “Monseigneur, I am at your gate.” The latter went out and found himself face to face with his murderer . Who brought him to his home and begun torturing him.

He also addresses the head of state, Paul Biya. Asking him “to discharge Martin Belinga Eboutou of his functions and put him at the disposal of justice”. Sosthène Fouda also asked that the National Security Delegate, Martin Mbarga Nguélé, as well as Jean Baptiste Bokam, the Secretary of State in charge of the Gendarmerie be investigated.

He further requests that the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Appeal of the Center be relieved of his duties.

Jean-Fils Kléber Ntamack published Tuesday a statement that the Bishop of Bafia died by drowning . What Vincent Sosthène Fouda, and Cameroonian public opinion in general, considers ” fabricated lies”.
