Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Bobby Charlton were among a group of spectators in the VIP area prevented from leaving the Volkswagen Arena following Manchester United's 3-2 defeat to Wolfsburg after a suspect package was found in a car park outside the stadium.
They had to wait for approximately 15 minutes as police looked at the package.
