“I am one of many in the country who have it, I have to battle on,” Banks was quoted as saying by BBC.

The former Stoke City goalie is considered to be one of the finest ever, and is famous for pulling of a remarkable save against Brazilian legend Pele in the 1970 World Cup. He had lost one kidney 10 years ago because of the same disease.
