Manchester United could restore to life a deal for PSG forward Lucas Moura, say reports.

Lucas, 23, was targeted by United when he was just 19, but PSG stole in with a £31.6million bid that was roundly criticised by Sir Alex Ferguson.

French newspaper L’Equipe report that the Brazilian came so close to moving to Old Trafford that he actually passed a medical with United before opting for PSG.

It’s also claimed that a number of Premier League sides are monitoring Lucas’ situation at PSG, and that United could return for the pacey wide-man.

Lucas has also developed into something of a super-sub in the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer mould at PSG – something which would certainly go down well with the Old Trafford faithful…
