Premier League fans are likely to witness the rekindling of the old rivalry between Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola from next season onwards.

After the blue of half Manchester secured the services of the Spaniard, the red half is on the verge of getting the Portuguese.

According to a report in the Mirror, the former Chelsea boss has agreed personal terms in principle with the Red Devils.

With Louis van Gaal unable to deliver results, the club's board is under pressure from investors and other stakeholders.

As the Dutchman's three-year-contract is set to be cut short, here are details of what Jose will be offered to manage one of the world's biggest football clubs.

Three-year contract: Like Van Gaal, Mourinho too will be offered a three-year deal, kicking in after the 2015-16 season ends.

£15m a year: Like Guardiola, Jose will take home a whooping £15 million a season, making him the world's highest-paid football manager.

New sporting director: The 53-year-old wants his future employers to hire Atletico Madrid sporting director Andrea Berta.

The Italian, who has done a tremendous job in Madrid, is considered a close friend of Jorge Mendes (Mourinho's agent).

While United have denied looking for a sporting director, Berta's arrival could see him take the responsibility of signing players, which is currently done by the executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
