Three-year contract: Like Van Gaal, Mourinho too will be offered a three-year deal, kicking in after the 2015-16 season ends.
£15m a year: Like Guardiola, Jose will take home a whooping £15 million a season, making him the world's highest-paid football manager.
New sporting director: The 53-year-old wants his future employers to hire Atletico Madrid sporting director Andrea Berta.
The Italian, who has done a tremendous job in Madrid, is considered a close friend of Jorge Mendes (Mourinho's agent).
While United have denied looking for a sporting director, Berta's arrival could see him take the responsibility of signing players, which is currently done by the executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
