World Wrestling Entertainment is really making frantic efforts to make Wrestling exciting once more.
It started out when Seth Rollins injured himself and after which all the creative team plans were discarded and improvised. The latest is Roman Reigns defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the 30 man Royal Rumble.
Roman Reigns broke away from his previously adopted persona of a people pleaser and beat up Triple Hto a pulp in last month’s TLC. To make things more interesting, Vince McMahon returned to the WWE Ring after a long hiatus and waged war against the man who hurt his son-in-law. Now that Roman Reigns is the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he has to face insurmountable odds at Royal Rumble.
Can Roman Reigns do it?
If the trend of recent events is to be seen, then at Royal Rumble Roman Reigns may walk out of the ring as WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He did win last year’s Battle Royal and it can happen again. If not, then the possibilities are countless. Who can actually win here will be anyone’s guess. If Vince McMahon has its way then one of the League of Nations members: Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Kevin Owens or King Barrett can win.
The bet is however on a returning wrestler. There is a possibility that John Cena might win the Royal Rumble again. Or Undertaker can win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and walk towards Wresltemania 32 as champion for the first and possibly the last time in his entire career.
