Manchester United red hot striker Anthony Martial will hope to celebrate his birthday with a first goal in nearly two months against West Ham on later today.

Anthony Martial turns 20 on Saturday and Manchester United have already got a birthday cake prepared for the France striker.

United chef Mike Donnelly, who Louis van Gaal said last season 'tells me anything he thinks I should know about Manchester United' arrived with the squad at The Lowry Hotelon Friday night carrying Martial's birthday treat.

Staff at United's Carrington training base usually present the players with a cake, however Martial turns 20 on a matchday.

Martial, who has scored only one goal in the last two-and-a-half months, is expected to spearhead United's attack against West Ham at Old Trafford.

The £36m France international has not scored since United's 1-1 draw with CSKA Moscow on October 21 but will start without the much-maligned Wayne Rooney against West Ham at the weekend.
