David Moyes was the subject of much ridicule on Twitter after some bizarre comments he made about Mesut Ozil.

The German World Cup winner has been one of the stars of the Premier League season so far, but it appears he hasn't done enough to win the admiration of Moyes, who was a Sky Sports pundit for Arsenal's match against Aston Villa at Villa Park.

Moyes said: "I think the jury's still out on Mesut Ozil."

It's a remarkable claim, considering Ozil had registered twice as many assists as any other Premier League player this season, as well as scoring four goals in all competitions.

And Moyes was left eating humble pie as Ozil laid on Arsenal's second for Aaron Ramsey, his 13th assist of the season in his 15th Premier League game.
